Little Explorers: Hooray for Bats!

Young explorers will discover the fascinating world of bats through stories, songs, movement, and a hands-on activity. Learn why these nighttime animals are important to our environment—and why they are not as scary as they may seem.

Screech at the REACH

Friday, October 23, 2026 | 5:30–8:00 PM

The Tri-Cities’ signature Halloween experience returns.

Explore the creatures of the night, discover how animals survive after dark, and experience the mystery of the Hanford Reach region in a whole new way. This is where nature, science, and Halloween come together.

REACH Member Early Access: 5:30–6:00 PM
Open to the General Public: 6:00–8:00 PM

General admission applies to all three programs. Admission is free for REACH Members.

What Is Screech Week?

Screech Week is a REACH Museum tradition that connects Halloween with real science and the natural world around us.
