STEAM Workshop: Dino Detectives & Fossil Fun

Travel back in time and uncover the stories hidden in stone!

Families will examine fossils and other clues that help paleontologists reconstruct Earth’s ancient past. Explore prehistoric sea creatures, discover fossilized plants, investigate Ice Age animals that once roamed the Pacific Northwest, and meet Suciasaurus rex, Washington’s official state dinosaur.

Through hands-on investigations and real-world evidence, participants will learn how scientists identify fossils, interpret ancient environments, and piece together the history of life on Earth. Aspiring paleontologists can practice observing, comparing, classifying, and asking the kinds of questions that lead to scientific discoveries.

STEAM Workshop is designed for families and curious learners of all ages.
