Exhibited at the REACH Museum from May 2–September 27, 2025
Visitors stepped into the majestic history of Washington’s most iconic peak in Rainier Remembered, an exhibit celebrating the awe, adventure, and evolving legacy of Mount Rainier, our nation’s fifth national park.
Featuring a breathtaking collection of vintage photographs, postcards, and memorabilia from 1850–1940, this exhibit captured the spirit of exploration and the enduring bond between people and the mountain. From daring early climbers and rustic campgrounds to hand-tinted postcards and silver gelatin prints, every piece told a story of discovery and wonder.
All artifacts and images were generously on loan from the Lee Silliman Collection, renowned for its preservation of early Western history.
