Tri-Cities Earth Day is a free, family-friendly community celebration focused on environmental learning, local action, and connection. Hosted at the REACH Museum, the event invites visitors to explore hands-on activities, attend engaging programs, and connect with organizations working to support a healthy planet and community.

You’re welcome to stop by for an hour—or spend the afternoon exploring everything the day has to offer.

Nick ZentnerNick on the Rocks

Earth Day 2026 will feature a special presentation by Nick Zentner, a nationally recognized geologist and science communicator known for making Earth science engaging, relevant, and accessible to all.

In Nick on the Rocks, Zentner uses rocks, landscapes, and real-world examples from the Pacific Northwest to tell the geologic story of place. Through humor, storytelling, and clear visuals, he connects deep time to the land beneath our feet—helping audiences better understand how geology has shaped the Mid-Columbia River Region and why it matters today.
