About the Show:
In Songs of the Moon, three Asian American students gather under a crisp autumn sky, preparing for their community’s Mid-Autumn Harvest Festival. As they explore three beloved folktales—Sun and Moon (Korean), The Jade Rabbit (Vietnamese), and The Moon Lady (Chinese)—they discover the joy of tradition, connection, and storytelling.
Written by Maggie Lee & Annastasia L. Workman, this show is produced by The 5th’s renowned Touring Company, bringing live musical theater to students since 1994.
