Little Explorers: Hibernation Station

Cozy up and discover how animals survive winter in the shrub-steppe and beyond! In this preschool-friendly science program, little learners explore dens, burrows, caves, and other winter shelters through gentle stories, sensory materials, and hands-on play. Children learn what hibernation is, why animals slow down in winter, and how they stay safe and warm until spring.

Perfect for families looking for an early-learning nature program in the Tri-Cities focused on wildlife, habitats, and simple seasonal science.
