Winter Nature Journaling

Take your family time outdoors with the REACH Museum’s winter session of Nature Journaling. This online program will show you how to get started with this fun and educational outdoor activity.  

Cost: $15 – once you register, an email will be sent containing your personal and unique Zoom link for one device.  Additional devices will require separate registrations.

WHO:  Nature journaling is for all ages and abilities, including students, scientists, artists, writers, and anyone curious about nature!  

WHAT: This age-old practice combines scientific observation skills with drawing, writing, math, and creativity to better understand your world and find your sense of wonder. Journaling is a low-tech activity that gets everyone outdoors and finding what fascinates them. 

WHENJoin our introductory session in November, and continue for a lifetime. Register by Nov. 23 for the class on Saturday November 28 at 10:00 a.m. PDT. 

WHERE: You can join the Zoom session from home or wherever you are. We’ll introduce activities that you can do in the yard, at the park, or even from indoors looking out the window. 

WHY:  Spending time in nature as a family has many health benefits.
