Mid-Columbia Mastersingers is pleased to present our season finale concert featuring the chamber version of the commercially acclaimed 20th century masterpiece “Carmina Burana” by Carl Orff. This production will serve as the fifth and final installment in MCM’s 2018-19 subscription concert series.
Two performances will be given on the outdoor stage at the REACH Museum in Richland:
Friday May 24, 8:00pm
Saturday May 25, 8:00pm
Join us 30 minutes before each performance for our free “Behind the Music” talk to learn more about the program.
The chamber version is scored for an arsenal of percussion and two grand pianos generously donated by Ebony & Ivory Pianos LLC / RichlandPianos.com. We are especially pleased to partner on this magnificent piece once again with fifty company dancers and alumni of Mid-Columbia Ballet who will perform throughout the work.
Guest artists include soprano Paige Cutrona, countertenor Augustine Mercante, baritone Jeremy Irland, and pianists Allen Madsen & Adrienne Shields.
Tickets are $25 general admission. K-12 school students are admitted free. We are not able to extend our First Time Free promotion or discounted group rate for this concert series.
Watch this event for updates regarding seating and concessions. Both performances will be held outdoors at the REACH Museum’s amphitheater, so please plan accordingly.
