Junior Ranger Park Pop-Ups are here!
Beginning Friday June 25th through Friday, July 30th, Manhattan Project National Historical Park, will be hosting park popups with programs designed for kids ages 4-13 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon. Every Friday for six weeks, a park ranger and special guest from the Richland Library or REACH Museum will pop up at a local Richland, Washington park. Kids will learn about the science and people of the Manhattan Project as well as the National Park Service through fun interactive activities. Aspiring Junior Rangers who participate in Junior Ranger Park Pop-Ups will also have a chance to earn a special Junior Ranger patch or pin!
This week’s Junior Ranger Park Pop-Up is at Rodney Block Park, 1500 Roberdeau St, Richland, WA 99354. Manhattan Project National Historical Park will be joined by a librarian from Richland Public Library. For more information email Emily_Welch@nps.gov.
