Our Education Team is ready to bring the REACH Museum directly into your after-school family fair and events! For in-class presentations, please visit REACH into the Classroom for more information.
Through the REACH’s Mini Mobile Museum, we are able to travel and bring an interactive display for science and/or STEM-themed activities to include displays and hands-on learning related to the REACH’s special topic areas such as the geological past and present, local wildlife, Hanford science and history, river ecology and many more.
Based on your interest, each event can be tailored to fit with your audience and topics of interest. Event visitors can stop by and choose what activity to engage in.
New for the academic year, 2019 – 2020, thanks to a grant from Battelle, which operates Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, the Children’s Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia will provide free STEM books to families with students in Kindergarten through third grade at an adjacent table during these events.
This opportunity is available to a limited number of applicants and we are currently accepting applications from October 2019 through March 2020.
If you are interested, please complete the following form and we will be contacting you within two weeks of submission on the eligibility of your event.
