DESCRIPTION:A collaboration of Manhattan Project National Historical Park and REACH Museum\nFriday February 7 5:00-7:00 pm\nThis exhibit, organized by Drew Gamboa, the Park’s Latino Community Outreach intern, introduces the small group of Latino/as recruited to work at Hanford during WWII and their experiences building community in a segregated society. This group went on the establish the Spanish-speaking community that continues to thrive in the Tri-Cities today. The exhibit and reception will highlight the contributions of the Latino/a community to the Manhattan Project and greater community.\nAll are invited to join the reception on February 7.
